The Need:
Laki Kane wanted to differentiate every part of their offering, from the unique tropically-inspired decor, the exclusive rum selection and of course, fantastic, attentive service. To help fulfil this last aspect they have implemented at-table service without the need for customers to flag down staff and disrupt their experience. Dinggly has helped Laki Kane to achieve this goal.

The Solution:
Laki Kane have unique branded buttons, mounted onto carved wooden sculptures that unquietly identifies each table as a different tropical island of the world. When a button is pressed staff pagers vibrate and display which table has requested service. The table names show in sequence with a timer, so it’s easy to see who should be served next and how long they’ve been kept waiting. The staff can also claim the calls for themselves using Dinggly’s CallGrab™, advising all other staff that they are attending and thereby removing duplicated effort. This also provides us with great insight into individual staff productivity as the cloud-based Dinggalytics™ system can provide both real-time and historic performance-related data.
